There have been no further coronavirus deaths recorded at our region's hospitals once again.
While cases of Covid-19 may be on the rise in some parts of the region, at this point the number of people dying in hospitals here remains low.
While we are consistently seeing either zero or very small increases in hospital death tolls, it is important to note that this does not cover all deaths from the virus.
Those dying in care homes or elsewhere in the community are not included in these NHS figures.
There is also often a weekend lag in reporting of the NHS figures, which is more pronounced on Sundays and Mondays.
These are the current covid-19 fatality totals for our region's NHS Trusts:
Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust – 4
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust – 4
Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust – 19
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (The Royal Liverpool, Aintree and Broadgreen hospitals) – 473
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust – 3
Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust – 151
St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust – 208
The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust – 10
Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust – 238
Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust – 136
