A WIRRAL artist has been spotted at work on a celebratory mural to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Alexandra Thompson was spotted by police community support officer Laura while on patrol during #WalkaboutWednesday in Moreton.
PCSO Laura, part of #TeamWallasey met Alex who is working on a piece of street art on a building at Moreton Cross.
The artwork has been commissioned by community group Moreton in Bloom as part of its celebrations for the event next month.

Alison Holmes from Moreton in Bloom told the Globe this afternooon: "It's all about making the area a better place in which to live, work and shop.
"We had a remembrance display in the town centre in November and a Christmas-themed display, so we thought it would be amazing to have a mural to mark the Jubilee.
"We are super-excited to see the mural taking shape.
"It's on the side of The Wedding Collection shop. Maria the owner has been very supportive."

Looking forward to the town's jubilee celebrations, Alison continued: "There will be a huge community event in Lingham Park on Thursday, June 2 featuring live music from 2-9pm and a barbecue."
Merpol Wirral tweeted: "We can't wait to see the finished piece".
