Woman ambushed by flasher while walking in woods

Police are appealing for information after a flasher indecently exposed himself to a woman in woodland.

Cheshire Constabulary said the incident happened in Runcorn just after 3pm today when the victim was walking in Bluebell Woods, which are in the eastern part of the town and have a border with Windmill Hill.

A force spokeswoman said officers swiftly attended but found no trace of the man.

Police have issued a description of his appearance as they urged witnesses to come forward.

The spokeswoman said: "The man is described as white, 6ft tall, of a stocky build and was aged around 30 to 40.

"Anyone who has an information should contact Cheshire police on 101 quoting IML 801635.

"Alternatively information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
