Nine more Covid-19 deaths have been recorded in Wirral University Teaching Hospital.
The deaths are spread over a wide period, occurring on April 5, 8, 10 (2), 19 & 30 and May 9 & 11 (2).
Today's NHS England figures takes the total number of coronavirus deaths in Wirral NHS hospitals to 193.
Today's Globe chart plots out all 193 fatalities at Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals to date.
The data illustrates that although Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) appears to be past its peak of April 11, there has only been three days where a Covid-19 death has not occurred since March 24. There have so far been no WUTH deaths reported for yesterday, but this data is omitted from the chart.
Across the country, the daily death rate continues to move downwards, but historic cases are still being recorded.
A further 244 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 23,952.
Patients were aged between 49 and 99 years old. 4 of the 244 patients (aged between 51 and 78 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
