No further coronavirus deaths in Wirral NHS Hospitals have been reported today, with daily occurrences continuing to decline across England.
A further 366 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 21,750.
Although the number of deaths reported today is higher than yesterday's figure, 90 of those deaths occurred across April.
Patients were aged between 29 and 99 years old. 14 of the 366 patients (aged between 49 and 85 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
Today's Globe chart shows the number of deaths that have occurred each day from when numbers started to fall.
Using the most recent NHS England data, it shows that fatality numbers have now fallen gradually for 11 consecutive days.
This data covers deaths that occurred in NHS hospitals only and does not include deaths in the community or care homes.
