THE Rotary Club of North Wirral’s annual art exhibition will be held at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton later this month.
Hundreds of pieces of artwork will be on view during the event – taking place at the riverside venue from August 14 to 20.
It starts with a preview night on Monday, August 14 taking place from 6 to 9.30pm in the Plaza and Panoramic Lounge areas of the Floral. Tickets for Monday night are £20, which includes the buffet and dessert.

Rock ‘n’ roll
MIKE Byrne and the Sunrockers return to Heswall British Legion on Pensby Road in Heswall this Wednesday (August 2) promising another great night of rock and roll. Doors open 7.30pm.
Admission £5. The evening will feature music of Buddy Holly, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and others.
Charity cuppa
HESWALL & District Animal Welfare Society’s fundraising coffee morning is taking place this Friday from 10am to 11.30am at Heswall Hall on Telegraph Road in Heswall. Admission £1. There will be a raffle, tombola and bric-a-brac stall.

BIRKENHEAD Choral Society is holding is free concert at Birkenhead Priory in memory of Charles Scarret founder and conductor that formed the choir 80 years ago at Cammel Laird.
