PIP – our dog of the week – needs your help to find his forever home.

The eight-year-old crossbreed has found himself at Dogs Trust Merseyside's rehoming centre following a change in his owner's circumstances and is said to be finding kennel life a little overwhelming.

Thanks to the team giving him lots of TLC his confidence is growing day by day, but they are all hoping it won’t be long before this sweet boy finds his special someone.

Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Pip's favourite pastime is snuggling up to people and there’s never a shortage of volunteers as he’s absolutely adorable.

"He is looking for a quiet home where he can be walked in quieter areas, and he'd love his owners to be around most of the time so he isn't left home alone.

"He can live with older children but would like to be the only dog in the home.

"He really is a gorgeous boy and we know his personality will shine through once he knows he’s in his forever home."
