Another 12 people who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) in Wirral have died, NHS England has confirmed.
The lastest figures released, which covers cases in NHS hospitals, takes the overall tally on the borough to 112.
Sevens of today's recorded deaths occurred on Tuesday April 14. The others were on April 7, 12, 13 (2) and 15.
There has been another 740 deaths across the country, taking the total number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 and died in England to 12,396.
Patients were aged between 28 and 103 years old. 40 of the 740 patients (aged between 45 and 93 years old) had no known underlying health condition. Their families have been informed.
Regionally, the North West recorded 106 more deaths. London was once again the highest with 153.
