It seems that Wirral is becoming a hotspot for filming with A-list stars and huge fan favourites descending on our little peninsula.
Over the last few weeks, Rebel Wilson has almost become an honorary resident having been seen out and about in New Brighton and taking a chilly dip in West Kirby's Marine Lake.
The 41-year-old Australian has been filming across Merseyside for The Almond And The Sea Horse, a feature adaptation of Kaite O’Reilly’s stage play.
But Wirral will play a large part of the backdrop of the scenes and is something we can expect to see more of on TV.
This week alone, there have been notices put out to local residents about filming for new dramas.
On Monday, Meols was the latest location to be featured in the BBC's new police thriller The Responder.

The Hobbit star Martin Freeman plays Chris in the series, who is a "crisis-stricken" urgent response officer working night shifts in Liverpool.
He was spotted in Everton in April sporting a greying beard in a full police uniform.
Residents in Meols were alerted to filming, with production company Dancing Ledge reassuring people they would be adhering to all covid restrictions along Meols Parade and Bennetts Lane.
Later this week ITV will be filming The Tower in Hoylake – a crime drama based on Kate London's novels.
It stars Game of Thrones actress Gemma Whelan who played Yara Greyjoy in the fantasy series.

Back in 2015, the Seacombe Ferry Terminal was transformed for filming the hit BBC drama.
Liverpool Film Council who looks after all filming permissions in Wirral was approached for comment.
