Police are currently surrounding a street in Wirral after reports of a shooting.
Images from Beechwood Drive, on the Beechwood estate, show multiple police vehicles protecting a cordoned off area.
That area includes several homes and a grassy area opposite, beyond which are a series of shops, a chapel and social club.
Comments on social media suggest people in the area fear there was shooting last night.
Several people who live near to the scene said they had heard what sounded like "fireworks" just before midnight.
The police presence has reportedly been in the area since the early hours, with claims forensics officers have been among the officials at the scene.
The nature of the incident has not been confirmed.
The ECHO has contacted Merseyside Police for details as to what the force is investigating.
Overview of what we know so far about the shootings
Now that we have those images from the second scene, I'm going to end this live blog.
Thank you for following the updates this afternoon.
You can read an overview of last night's shootings here.

From this photo the damage to the car appears to have been done to the rear window on the driver's side

Police on second scene linked to shootings
I've just had confirmation there are also forensics officers on Crutchley Avenue in Birkenhead. That is where the car damaged by gunfire was discovered last night.
I'll have some images from there shortly

Police: 'We will not tolerate the use of guns'
Following the shootings, Community Policing Chief Inspector Paul Holden said: “An investigation is ongoing after shots were fired in Prenton last night last night and officers remain in the area today to carry out enquiries and speak to witnesses.
“We will not tolerate the use of guns on our streets and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, has any information, CCTV or dashcam footage, to please get in touch so we can act upon it.”
Two arrests over shootings
Following initial enquiries, officers have arrested two men, aged 32 and 34, both from the Birkenhead area, on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
They were taken into custody where they remain for questioning.
No injuries reported
At this stage, no-one is believed to have been injured in any of the shootings. If anyone presents at hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds it is the hospital's duty to inform the police.
Damaged car found a few miles away from homes that were also shot
Police were called to Beechwood Drive at 11.10pm on Good Friday following reports of gunshots.
On arrival, patrols discovered gunshot damage to two properties in the street.
A short time later, police found a car with gunshot damage in Crutchley Avenue in Birkenhead. That's a small cul-de-sac a few miles away.
Confirmed: Two homes and a car hit in Wirral gun blasts
I've received confirmation from police that they are investigating a shooting on Wirral.
Merseyside Police say two homes, both on Beechwood Drive, were hit by gunfire.
A car was also damaged in the attack.
For the latest crime news
The police scene currently includes a row of homes on Beechwood Drive, near the road's junction with Farmfield Drive.
It also includes a grassy area opposite those homes.
Beyond the grassy area is a community hub that includes a chippy, a chapel, Beechwood Library and some businesses, plus a car park. That does not appear to be within the current police scene.

Forensics focus on home
Right, here is the first of some new images, as promised.
As you can see, forensics are at the scene, and appear to be focusing on a house in this stage of their enquiry
Forensics remain at the scene
We now have updated images from Beechwood Drive, which I will be able to share with you shortly.
They show a significant police cordon that extends beyond that displayed in the photograph already published.
It is also clear that forensics officers are still at the scene. There were reports of their presence this morning and, as we head into the afternoon, they are continuing to examine the area.
Reports of 'fireworks'
Several residents on the Beechwood estate have reported hearing what sounded like fireworks or thunder at around 11.30pm on Friday.
They are among those who now believe they heard shots being fired.
The large police presence – I count at least six vehicles in the image – suggests police believe the incident is serious.
Drone image shows police scene
We have this image of the scene, which includes part of Beechwood Drive.
As you can see, several houses are within the cordoned off area. The grassy area opposite them is also within the cordon
Neighbours fear detectives are probing a shooting
We have not yet received official confirmation over what detectives are investigating, though people in the area have suggested there may have been a shooting last night.
That remains unconfirmed, but appears to be the dominant concern among residents of the estate.
