Tesco, Aldi, Asda, Iceland warning with customers told to not eat pasta, chocolate and more

It's time to check those cupboards and fridges again after a number of safety warnings were issued about food from supermarkets.

Aldi, Asda, Iceland Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and more have all issued recall warnings in recent days.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said some of the products recalled have been contaminated with salmonella.

Here are all the products that have been recalled in the past week.

Iceland

Bryans Salads is recalling Chicken & Bacon Pasta Salad, Prawn Pasta Salad and Cheese Pasta Salad because they have been labelled with a ‘use by’ date of 7 February 2022 instead of 7 January 2022.

The products listed above have been labelled with a ‘use by’ date of 7 February 2022 instead of the intended ‘use by’ date of 7 January 2022.

Therefore, they may be unsafe to eat after the intended ‘use by’ date due to risk of bacterial growth that could cause illness if consumed.

Aldi, Asda, Pizza Express, Tesco, Galberts, Morrisons and Sainsbury's have all recalled several pizza products.

In an alert to the Food Standards Agency, BakeAway is recalling a number of raw pastry products because salmonella has been found in the products.

Symptoms caused by salmonella typically include fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.

If you have bought any of the below products do not eat them.

Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts (hazelnut).

If you have an allergy to nuts (hazelnut) do not consume, instead package up item and return the product to your local Waitrose & Partners branch for a refund
