According to the Met Office heavy rain is forecast on Sunday, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 16 degrees.
The showers are predicted to start around 10am and last until around 2pm, before returning again in the evening.
The weather experts said there is also the risk of thunder in some parts of Merseyside tomorrow.
This comes ahead of two yellow weather warnings for wind which have been put in place for next week.
