Spot yourself in these 43 photos from past Merseyside school days
These are bound to transport you back in time

In a matter of days schoolchildren across Merseyside will begin a new academic year. For some, it will be their first day walking down a school corridor and for others, it will mark the start of the final year of their school life.
So much has changed since older generations were at school, from fashion trends to technology to the people who taught us. But these fascinating photographs, courtesy of our archives Mirrorpix and more, are bound to transport you back to school days in our region in years gone by.
As the academic year begins, we've delved into our archives to revisit brilliant photos from years gone by. Capturing school days through the decades, these images show everything from snaps inside the classroom to Merseyside pupils on day trips, events and more, the ECHO previously reported.

Taken between 1930s and 1990s, they also offer a glimpse into how things used to be. And you may spot a familiar face, like a former teacher or school pal you haven't seen in years.
See who you remember in these 43 photos of Merseyside school days. You can see more in our gallery below.
