Help Finder, a Liverpool-based non-profit dedicated to supporting society’s most vulnerable, is seeking financial donations from the public to allow its team to purchase a new van.
Since December 2019, the team, led by Dominic Lipscombe, have provided essential items such as food, drink, clothes and toiletries through their Sunday Service initiative, and they have recently set up a Parcel Service offering delivery and collection for those in need.
To continue their work across the city and beyond, the Help Finder team are calling on members of the public to provide donations so that they can acquire their own transport and keep up with the growing demand for their services.
Alongside their initiatives to support the homeless and those living in poverty, Help Finder also worked throughout the Covid-19 pandemic to distribute PPE, including medical grade face masks and aprons, to organizations such as the NHS, care homes, hospices and community groups.
Dominic Lipscombe, Director of Help Finder, said: “We wouldn’t be where we are today without the help of one of our volunteers, who has been providing us with a van to use for our deliveries of parcels. But as demand for our service grows, we need to scale up our operations.
“We want Help Finder to have longevity and to continue to be a lifeline for those in need across Merseyside. The team and I are so grateful for the support we’ve had so far, and we will be incredibly thankful to anyone who is able to donate and assist us in reaching our latest goal.”
Help Finder provide support to their own service users, as well as accepting referrals from the likes of The Whitechapel Centre, Riverside, AsylumLink and Change Grow Live, so by donating to Help Finder’s van appeal, members of the public are also directly supporting thousands of people through their generosity.

Those who donate over £750 to Help Finder will be given the opportunity to have their business logo placed on the side of the van. For other enquiries regarding donations, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
