TALENTED singers from a Wirral youth zone performed alongside John Newman, The Script and Ms Banks before some members met with Prince Harry at the OnSide Youth Zone Awards.

The Hive Youth Zone’s Edge of Seventeen senior vocal group and 18-year-old rapper Sens.A took to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 17.

Edge of Seventeen performed throughout the evening as the onstage choir, accompanying other young superstars as they performed and closed the evening with a performance of This is Me from The Greatest Showman.

Prince Harry attended the ceremony and met with award nominees including The Hive Young Leaders who had been up for a ‘Giving Back’ award in recognition of the role they play at The Hive.

Hive Young Leader Chloe, 15, who spoke to The Duke told the Globe: “Prince Harry was really down to earth and was really interested about what we do as Young Leaders.

“He asked us what we would do if we didn’t have The Hive to go to, and we all said we would be really bored and have nothing to do!

“It was an amazing experience; it was so brilliant to meet him and have the chance to tell him about The Hive.”
