IT WAS a great start to the month for Postcode Lottery players in Ellesmere Port after one postcode in the town was selected as a daily draw winner.
Each player within the postcode (CH66 2XP) will today (Tuesday, October 1) receive a £1,000 prize courtesy of the Postcode Community Trust.
The postcode is located on Linden Close, Great Sutton.
The People’s Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for more than 20 charities and trusts, meaning players have a chance to win every day of the month.
Prizes range from the £1,000 daily jackpot up to a share of £1m.
A total of 33 percent of players’ £12 ticket price goes to charity with the more than £1.3b having been raised for good causes since 2005.
