Natalia Becker opens up with intimate breastfeeding selfie

Natalia Becker shared an intimate and adorable family photo to her Instagram page as she breastfeeds her young son Matteo.

The sweet selfie shows her son breastfeeding, while daughter Helena smiles at the camera.

The photo was accompanied by a lengthy caption in Portuguese, in which Natalia praised the "amazing" benefits of breastfeeding.

The mum-of-two, who is married to Liverpool's goalkeeper Alisson Becker, shared a statement which can be translated as: "40 months ago I became a mother. Of these, I spent 22 breastfeeding each child.

"It doesn't matter your social class, if you choose to breastfeed, your child will have the BEST available. Isn't it amazing?

"To everyone who has ever breastfed, regardless of the time you managed to do it for, you'll agree with me that it's worth breastfeeding… in the short and long term, with recognition or without, in pain or without, sleeping or not, WORTH IT!"

Natalia continued to detail her "beautiful" experience of breastfeeding her children, but did concede it had been "exhausting".

She added: "Today I celebrate breastfeeding because I know, from my own experience, it's worth it!"

The photo, posted on Natalia's official Instagram page, received more than 21,000 likes since it has been posted.

Natalia and husband Alisson were married in 2015.

They have two children together: daughter, Helena and little Matteo.

The family of four recently holidayed in Villasimius, which is a coastal town in southeast Sardinia, Italy.

The area boasts barracuda, seagrass meadows and dive sites while the Stagno di Notteri lagoon, which is nearby, is visited by migrating flamingos in winter.

Their holiday came after Liverpool lifted the coveted Premier League trophy in July.
