A music festival is coming to Liverpool this November with 12 hours of live entertainment from some of the biggest Soul and Motown artists over the decades.. Soulside Music Festival will be taking over Boxpark at the Brewery Village in the Baltic Triangle on Saturday. November 23.
Artists who will be performing include local legends, The Real Thing. They will be performing a selection of their greatest hits from 'You to me are everything' to 'Can't get by without you. Adding to the disco atmosphere will be Odysssey with their 70's New York Disco sound performing hits like 'Native New Yorker'.
Soulside Festival will begin at midday and performances from local artists and DJ’s will get the party started. From 3pm there will be a selection of tribute artists including tributes to soul icons Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye. The line up also includes performances from local singer Michael Anthony, Mr Smooth Ebie Issacs, and local DJ Charlie Cee.
The headline acts will take to the stage from 7pm-10pm with a live performance from Ray Lewis from The Drifters who will have the the crowd on their feet with hits such as 'Kissing in the back row'. Finishing the action-packed night will be DJ Craig Charles with a set of Soul and Motown classics to round off a spectacular 12 hours of music.
