Once life returns to something like normality, a trip to the barbershop will be top of the list for many.
In common with other high street businesses, these shops have had a torrid year, with long periods of closure being interrupted by brief spells where they could once again open to customers.
Just before the pandemic struck last year, we asked ECHO readers to nominate their favourite barber and received hundreds of replies.
For many of us, once we find a barber we like, we'll stick with them for years.
Whether they always give the perfect cut, can be trusted with a close shave or welcome every customer with some brilliant chat, you know when you've landed on a great one.
And barbers who are good with children are particularly valued by parents who can struggle to find the right person.
The following list is based on information we received following the survey we carried out last year.
We have highlighted these 37 barbers mainly on the basis of several customers giving them glowing testimonials to explain why they keep coming back, in some cases over many years.
But to barbers everywhere, we salute you, and hope to welcome you all back very soon.
