No new coronavirus deaths were recorded in hospitals in our region, despite infections being on the rise across the North West.
The latest update from NHS England on hospital deaths from coronavirus shows another day with no fatalities registered across the entire region.
Public health bosses in Liverpool have implemented measures to try and stamp out community outbreaks of coronavirus and have warned that the situation is likely to " get worse before it gets better".
Across the whole country, a further 15 new coronavirus deaths were registered in hospitals across England.
The highest number of new hospital deaths were recorded in the North East and Yorkshire, which saw a total of eight deaths.

An NHS England spokesperson said: "A further 15 people, who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,401.
"Patients were aged between 67 and 100 years old. All bar one individual (aged 91) had known underlying health conditions.
"Their families have been informed."
