A MENOPAUSE expert from Wirral is "giving women their lives back" by helping them cope with the changes they face.
Amanda Prince, 57, a medical expert and member of the British Menopause Society, has dedicated her life to assisting women after grappling with her own struggles.
The menopause, which affects every woman, lacks sufficient expert support and can be extremely debilitating.
A survey by the British Menopause Society found 36 percent of women said their menopause symptoms impacted their social life, 50 percent said it affected their home life, 50 percent said it affected their sex life, and more than a third said it affected their work life.

Many who did consult their GP received only brief consultations, leaving them feeling disillusioned and alone.
This is where Amanda steps in, providing more in-depth support.
With a wealth of qualifications, experience, and knowledge, she guides women through their changes.
She offers a free initial consultation, followed by a comprehensive consultation exploring medical history, lifestyle, and symptoms.
This can last up to 60 minutes and provides women with a management plan, treatment options, and, when necessary, HRT prescriptions.
Amanda said: "My experience of menopause started when I was in my mid-40s, although the signs were probably there earlier.
"Even though I am medically trained, I wasn’t educated in menopause back then and didn’t realise or understand the impact it would have on my life.
"Looking back now, I realise that I had been experiencing hot flushes, sleeplessness, brain fog and fatigue that was at times all-consuming."

She created a lifestyle that alleviated many of her symptoms and gained more specialist qualifications in menopause, with the aim of helping other women in the same way.
Amanda said: "I started pilates and it played a big part in my recovery from joint problems.
"I became pretty expert at it and continue it now.
"My HRT journey was a revelation.
"I felt like I was back to being me again."
She has received many testimonials from women she has helped, with one client saying: "I had given up on my GP, he just didn’t take me seriously.
"I am now looking forwards to a better future."
