A MAN was robbed in broad daylight by a gang of teenagers in Wallasey on Monday afternoon (January 20).
At around 2pm, a male wearing a balaclava reportedly got out of a silver car on Sandon Road, near Wallasey Town Hall and made threats towards a man in his 20, before stealing his Air Pods and shoes.
The suspect then returned to the vehicle which had three other occupants and drove off.
The incident was reported to Merseyside Police at around 3.35pm.
Enquiries are ongoing, including analysis of CCTV footage and an appeal for witnesses.
The suspect is described as slim, 5' 11" and wearing a balaclava. All four suspects are believed to be between 16-18 years old.
Detective Inspector Sarah Wilkinson said: "This will have been a distressing incident for the victim and we are making extensive enquiries to find those involved.
"If you were on the promenade at around 2pm yesterday and saw or captured anything, please come forward. Any more information on this vehicle could also be vital to the investigation.
