A cyclist is still fighting for his life after being hit by a car.
The man, in his 50s, was hit outside the Durning Arms pub on Wavertree Road on Friday, November 3. Merseyside Police said they were called to the scene at the junction of Tunnel Road at 8.20pm.
Police confirmed this morning the man remains in hospital in a critical condition. The driver of the car, a blue Polestar, stopped at the scene and is continuing to help police with their enquires.

Detective Sergeant Kurt Timpson from the Serious Collision Unit said: "Our investigations continue into this serious collision that has sadly left a man in a critical condition with a serious head injury. We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision on Friday night and we would urge any motorists with a dash camera fitted to their vehicle who were in the area at this time to get in touch.
"If you saw, or have footage of the vehicle involved in this collision in the area we need to hear from you. Every piece of information is vitally important to our investigation to establish what happened.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision or captured anything on CCTV or dashcam is asked to contact SCIU on (0151) 777 5747, or email SCIU@merseyside.police.uk with Log 911 of Friday 3 November."
