Live updates after ‘shots fired’ at Land Rover in Belle Vale car park

A road in Liverpool has been cordoned off with armed police reportedly on the scene and a helicopter spotted above.

Footage sent to the ECHO shows a major police scene on Lee Park Avenue, Belle Vale, with a number of surrounding roads cordoned off.

Eyewitnesses have reported that Merseyside Police are responding to a suspected shooting, however this has not been confirmed by the force as of yet.
