FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a house in Tranmere last night (Tuesday, November 7).
Three fire crews were called to the two-storey terraced property on Downham Road at 10.07pm and on scene at 10.13pm. Police were also called to the scene.
The fire was on the ground floor.
A Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service statement read: "Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the house under rapid deployment and fought the fire with a high pressure hose reel.
"The fire was extinguished by 10.19pm and four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus carried out a search of the premises- all occupants were accounted for and the property was ventilated.
"Firefighters handed the incident over to Merseyside Police and left the scene just after midnight."
