A CHARITY for disabled children and a specialist sports college are joining forces for a fundraising fashion show.
Newlife, The Charity for Disabled Children, and Clare Mount Specialist Sports College in Leasowe will hold the event on Thursday, February 27.
Students from the college will model the clothing alongside some Newlife staff members.
Tickets, priced at £4 each, are available from the Newlife Moreton store or the college.
All proceeds will be split between the college and Newlife, which provides support and specialist equipment for disabled children, including wheelchairs, buggies, beds, and car seats.
The fashion show will be held between 6pm and 8pm at the sports college, located at Birket Avenue, Wirral.
There will be a variety of brand-new clothing to be snapped up on the night, all of which has been donated to Newlife from a wide range of high street stores.
There will also be a raffle and performances of dance and music from the students.
The event has been organised by Newlife Moreton store manager Nina Barnes and Deborah Jackson, one of the charity’s fundraising champions, based at the Moreton store.
Ms Barnes said: "We are very excited to be holding this joint event and it’s sure to be a great evening, so we are urging the local community to support us by purchasing tickets and joining us on the night.
"Both the college and Newlife are dedicated to helping children and young people and funds raised from the fashion show will help improve the lives in a variety of ways."
The Newlife Morton store and the college can both be approached for tickets.
