POLICE are appealing for information after a gang of youths pushed a lone woman before assaulting a man trying to help in West Kirby.
On Saturday, March 29 at around 7pm it was reported that the group kicked and punched the man who was on Bank's Road where the incident happened.
He required treatment in hospital for fractured ribs and has since been discharged.
Police is appealing for help to identify the three boys captured on CCTV who may be able to assist the investigation.
Detective inspector Emma Kerrigan said: “This was a sustained and shocking attack on a man who was simply not prepared to accept the poor behaviour of the youths involved.
“If you recognise the males pictured, or witnessed any part of the incident on Banks Road, then do let us know as any information you hold could prove vital in our efforts to bring those responsible to justice.”
