Bricks left falling in on house as car smashes into it and flips

Shocking photos show the damage caused to a house after a car ploughed through a set of railings and smashed into the front of it.

Bricks were left falling in at the front of the property after the crash on Longmoor Lane in Fazakerley, on Friday, which saw the vehicle flip onto its side.

The road was closed by emergency services at around 10pm, as fire crews and paramedics were seen assisting police at the scene.

It is believed that, at around 9.30pm, a silver vehicle travelling in the area crashed into a set of railings on the road before flipping onto its side and smashing into the front of a terraced house facing Barlow’s Lane.

Shortly after 10pm recovery workers were spotted attempting to turn the car back over to remove it from the footpath, before it was towed away.

Photos taken at the scene today, April 18, show the aftermath caused by the crash, including the front window of the property which was boarded up.

Smashed glass from the vehicle was also left strewn across the street today, beside a headrest from the inside of the car.

It is not yet clear whether anyone was injured in the collision but a witness at the scene told the ECHO that there was only one man inside the car at the time of the crash.
