ITV The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh is one of the top earners on our television screens.

After relatively humble beginnings, Bradley has gone on to bank millions.

The 59-year-old runs Wingit Productions with his wife, Donna, and son Barney was made a director on March 31 of this year.

The latest accounts for Wingit Productions, show Bradley's earnings were up £2 million on the previous year – which is quite the rise from the £190,000 the company was worth in 2010.

Bradley's fortune comes from his lengthy career in television but his first job after leaving school at 16 was a world away from show business.

He got a job as an apprentice jet engineer at Rolls Royce's aircraft engine factory in Watford, before going on to become a professional footballer for Brentford after being spotted by a talent scout.

A string of ankle fractures ended his professional football career when he was just 22, leading him to find work as a bluecoat at Pontins in Morecombe.

This would help pave the way for his career in television.

Bradley became the host The Wheel Of Fortune 1997 before becoming a regular on the beloved long-running soap Coronation Street.

Bradley played Danny Baldwin on the famous cobbles from 2004 until 2006.

His debut album Chasing Dreams was the biggest selling debut album by a British artist in 2016, outselling albums by former One Direction member Zayn Malik, Stockport band Blossoms and Jack Garratt.
