A boy has been rescued from a pond after getting stuck trying to make a TikTok video.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said that a boy was rescued by Merseyside Fire Service from a pond in Knowsley, where he'd been trying to make a TikTok video.
The officer said: "Our response officers in Knowsley are having the kind of shift where you never know what will happen next!
"Currently talking to the parents of a boy rescued by @MerseyFire from a pond where he'd be trying to make a #TikTok video!"
The policing team are currently live blogging a night of work as part of Response Policing Week.
Numerous teams across the Merseyside area are sharing the incidents, to highlight the work of the 'emergency response officers and thank them for the work they do to help people in their hour of need.'

In addition to the pond rescue which happened at around 7.30pm, police officers said they were also dealing with a separate incident of attempted break in by young men with weapons.
The tweet said: "This is on top of dealing with an attempted break in to a house by young men with weapons, one of which was chased by officers, caught and remained aggressive; a domestic incident; a burglary where a motorbike was stolen; a scuffle in a pharmacy; and three arrests for affray."
Previously, at around 6pm, the response officer in Knowsley posted about an incident in Kikrby where three people were arrested after a street fight.
A Merseyside police officer said: "It's getting busy now. Three arrests made in Kirkby following a fight in the street.
"Emergency patrols teamed up with local policing officers and a dog patrol to make arrests, speak to witnesses and gather evidence. Stay tuned for more."
