The burned remains of two industrial bins could be seen outside a high school today following a fire in a nearby storage area.
Fire engines were called to the blaze at Maricourt Catholic High School on Damfield Lane, Maghull, at around 9.40pm yesterday. The incident was caught on camera, with one video showing large flames and smoke billowing into the air.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was extinguished with a high pressure hose reel before firefighters left the scene at 10.08pm.

A fire service spokesperson said: "Crews were called to a fire at Maricourt High School in Maghull this evening. Two fire engines were in attendance.
"Crews were alerted at 9.40pm and on scene at 9.47pm. On arrival, crews found two industrial bins on fire in a bin storage area. The fire was extinguished with a high pressure hose reel before firefighters left the scene at 10.08pm."
