A BIRKENHEAD-based accountancy firm has launched a recruitment drive following an expansion across its business.
The Accountancy Partnership expanded its headcount by 41% during the last year following and influx of new customers.
The business has taken on 25 people in the last year and is now recruiting for a further 13 new accountancy positions.
Lee Murphy, managing director at The Accountancy Partnership said: “People are the most important asset in any business.
“We want to look after our team and provide the opportunities they need to develop and grow, in a comfortable and friendly environment.
“The company has experienced fantastic growth over the past 12 months, so it’s more important than ever that we do everything in our power to make our employees’ lives easier and more enjoyable in the workplace.”
The business also has plans to introduce a 35-hour work week without any impact on salary to give employees more work/life flexibility post-pandemic.
Mr Murphy added: “We truly believe in giving people a platform to showcase their skills, and supporting them so they can grow and develop, and reach the next milestone in their careers.
“By providing the training and qualifications needed to reach the next stage in their development, we can continue to build the experience and knowledge in our workforce while retaining the culture we have developed through the years.
“We’re incredibly excited to continue to grow and welcome new clients and employees, and we plan to do further work with local schools, colleges, and graduates considering self-employment, in order to make their business and accounting lives easier when stepping on the ladder.”
