Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden has revealed she has broken her foot shortly after she finished her cancer treatment.
The Welsh dancer has been diagnosed with a second type of cancer after she was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. The 33-year-old revealed her diagnosis back in May and has since undergone an operation, as well as a mastectomy and fertility treatment.
Amy celebrated her last round of cancer treatment last week and had planned to make an appearance on the popular BBC contest before the end of the year. However, she has taken to Instagram to reveal she will not be able to achieve that goal after her injury.

She said: "Not the week I was hoping for since finishing chemo. Port out but unfortunately gained a boot for a fractured foot.
"Absolutely gutted and heartbroken as this means the plans for me to dance in the Strictly ballroom this year are no longer possible. This is what has kept me going the past few months. 2023 is certainly not my year, roll on 2024 I say!"
