Argos has revealed its top toy list for Christmas 2024. There are fewer than 100 days left before the big day so Argos has revealed the items sure to dominate children's Christmas wishlists.
Argos’ team of toy experts have compiled a list including 20 nostalgic, interactive and character-themed toys, encouraging kids to get creative and immerse themselves in the world of play. This year, a few popular items are making a comeback.
Searches for Furby on Argos are up by 237%, revealing that iconic 90’s toys are making a strong reappearance. Meanwhile, Drop Trivia has also made the list, as did other nostalgic toys such as Beyblades and Polly Pocket.
TV characters such as Bluey and family-favourite Stitch continue to be some of the annual best sellers. For animal lovers, interactive pet toys are also predicted to rise in popularity at Christmas, with Daisy the Yoga Goat and the Teksta Purro Cat both trending picks this year.
Argos also predicts that the LEGO Wicked Emerald City will be top of wish lists this Christmas, alongside LEGO’s Dancing Groot. LEGO is one of the most searched-for items on Argos this year and saw searches for the brand double ahead of Christmas in 2023.
Independent toys will prove popular this year, including the Goo Jitzu Hero Creator which allows children to conduct their own scientific experiments, alongside the Story Dream Machine with Fairy Tale Collection that amplifies the magic of reading and provides a practical alternative to screentime.
