AN enchanted garden, marshmallows around the fire, Santa's Grotto, music and a Christmas show are among the 'magical' festive experiences on offer at a Wirral outdoor education and activity centre next month.
The events, taking place at Barnstondale on selected Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from December 1-24, are described as 'engaging activities for children and adults alike'.

All proceeds raised from ticket sales will go to the centre on Storeton Lane in Barnston which helps disadvantaged children.
A spokesperson for the events' organisers said: "Visitors can expect to feel mesmerised by the enchanted sensory garden, meeting mystical friends and playing seasonal instruments.

They continued: "The beauty of these events is that not only will you and your children enjoy an unforgettable Christmas experience you will also be helping raise funds for a local children’s charity.
"By enjoying a wonderful Christmas experience, you will also be helping fund residential experiences for disadvantaged children, who would otherwise miss out on the invaluable experience of learning in the outdoors and making memories with their friends."
Barnstondale is an inclusive outdoor education and activity centre that helps all children, regardless of their background access the adventure of learning outdoors.
It hosts three-day residential stays and activity days where children attend and engage in outdoor activities, sport and learning, and their bursary scheme funds disadvantaged children and those with additional needs.
Barnstondale’s Siobhan Waters said: “This year is the second year of us running our Magical Christmas fundraiser and it’s truly amazing to have everyone join in on the fun at Barnstondale.
"Families have a fantastic time with food, drink, the enchanted garden, the show, games and Santa.
"It's so lovely and ultimately it helps us raise money for the 1500 disadvantaged children we aim to support in 2024."
She continued: "There are many Christmas events out there but this one is all that more special as every penny we raise goes back into the work we do as a charity.
"We have around 6,000 children using our centre each year and 1,500 of them are disadvantaged, which means they might not have the money available to join their friends at Barnstondale.
"Supporting our Magical Christmas fundraiser helps us make sure all children can access our facilities, the more money we raise, the more children can visit our facilities."
