We see them every single day and rely on them to deliver all our letters and parcels safely – whatever the weather.
Thanks to Merseyside's best-loved posties, we can look forward to letters from loved ones and important deliveries.
With Royal Mail staff working harder than ever before in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, we thought it was only right to thank those special members of staff who make a massive difference to us all.
We asked ECHO readers to tell us all about the postal staff who have made a difference to them down the years.
Whether it's a retired postie who served your community for decades, the man or woman who always goes above and beyond for you, or the local postie who's always on hand with a smile and a bit of chat.
As you can imagine, most people were only on first name terms with their local postie, so we included their name and the area they serve.
In some cases, people didn't actually know the name of their postman or woman, but wanted to praise them anyway.
For these amazing posties, we included their delivery route and some details about why they're so appreciated by locals, even if they haven't got round to exchanging names!
If we've left any out – or if you recognise any of the postal staff mentioned below – please email email@example.com so we can add in their full names where possible and give them the thanks they deserve.
